Uganda
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda is home to one of the world's few remaining populations of Mountain Gorilla. Wildlife Works has become aware of a small womens cooperative on the edge of the forest that has been taught to produce raw silk, but has no market for their product. We are exploring the possibility of introducing a Wildlife Works EcoFactory in the community to strengthen the local commitment to the protection of the forest and gorillas.
