Atlantic Forest of Brazil
The Atlantic Forest region stretches for thousands of kilometers along Brazil's Atlantic coast, from the northern state of Rio Grande do Norte south to Rio Grande do Sul.

Although much of the original forest is gone, the region still holds incredible biodiversity including 20,000 plant species, 40 percent of which are found no where else, in an area fifty times smaller than the Brazilian Amazon. There are also endangered primates, and dozens of threatened birds.

Wildlife Works is planning to launch a swim wear line in 2004, and exploring the possibility of manufacture of the line in Brazil, as the basis for a Wildlife Works project to protect the remaining Atlantic Forest remnants.
