British Columbia
n the Mid-Coast of British Columbia, Canada there are still pristine temperate rainforests that have escaped the ravages of the loggers. These forests are habitat to a wide range of spectacular wildlife, such as Grizzly Bears, Coastal Wolves, Mountain Lions, Moose and the mystical white Spirit Bear.
There have been many attempts to formalize protection for the most spectacular of these valleys, but all efforts have failed to gain support of the First Nations people, or of the logging companies who currently control the land.
Wildlife Works believes that bringing our brand of economic development to the First Nations community could break the log jam and be an important piece in a solution that would finally see these magical forests and the animals that call them home protected forever.
