our mission
Meet the women who make your products.

Here are a few of the stories of the women who make your products in our Ecofactory at our Rukinga sanctuary in Kenya. Our story is really their story. They become our champions in their community, asking their friends and families to forego poaching to protect their jobs, and the independence it gives them.

Constance Sarina, 26 years
My name is Constance. I am single and have no children.

I started work at Wildlife Works in January 2005. I used to work at Kilifi as a tailor for an individuals business. The pay was low and we were never paid on time. Since I have been working for Wildlife Works, I have got job security and thus am able to plan for my future. My living standards have improved. I have got more skill in sewing machine use and learnt about the different materials used to make t-shirts. My work mates are very helpful and are friends. I hope that we will get more work in the factory so as to get more income to continue improving our livelihoods.
